Jillian and Stephen congratulate all their staff for their efforts which have been recognized by the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce.

Something Special Flowers won Customer Service Award catagory and also scooped the overall Perthshire Business of the year at the Business Star Awards 2009

Something Special Flowers have just been announced as the prefered florist for the Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel.

As part of the Perth 800 Celebrations, Perthshire Chamber of Commerce hosted the Perthshire on a Plate event on Saturday 3rd July.

The main attraction was a display by TV Celebrity chef and "King of the Jungle" Gino D'Acampo.

Jillian wowed the crowd with her floral creations, suitable for the banqueting table.

Having qualified as the only Scottish finalist in the 2007 Smithers - Oasis Floristry Competition, Jillian Won the category for best wedding head gear.

She also impressed the judges with her presentation skills and has accepted the offer of the title Ambassador for Scotland.

Jillian is back in the shop full time!

Having completed her 12 month contract at Langside College in Glasgow, Jillian has now turned her full attention back to the shop.

It has been a steep leaning curve and she has gained much valuable experience in a new environment. It is always satisfying to see students go on and gain the rewards that they work hard for.  We wish them all the very best for the future.

Never the less it is good to have her back full time, as our business gains even more momentum this year with added contract work.
